HTK has developed the “HDRP Series”, a new member of the HDR Series of 0.8 mm pitch interface connectors.
This new series has increased current capacity,and is scheduled for release in May 2022.
The HDR Series of 0.8 mm pitch interface connectors, which is marking its 30th anniversary, is used in a wide range of fields,including industrial equipment such as FA equipment and semiconductor manufacturing equipment,as well as communication infrastructure and medical equipment, and is seeing increasing adoption against the recent backdrop of greater need for reduced size.
Our newly developed “HDRP Series” is a range of I/O connectors designed with increased current capacity, while maintaining the compact size and robustness of the HDR Series.
Typically, the smaller the connectors pitch, the lower the current capacity.
This product has been developed to meet a wider range of needs by increasing the current capacity from 0.5 A to between 1.0 A and 1.5 A,while retaining the smallest size in the industry and robust locking mechanism for I/O connectors with 0.8 mm pitch. Moreover,the insulator color has been changed to prevent incorrect connectors engagement when used in combination with conventional products.
This product can be used with accessories such as HDR Series cases.
This product is expected to be used in a wide range of applications that require control signals in addition to a low-power driving power supply,such as connection with control devices or devices with compact displays.
In the future, we plan to offer a broader product lineup to meet customer needs by increasing the number of connectors pins,and creating incorrect insertion prevention keys and dedicated cases for these keys.

* The HDRP Series will only be available with 26 pins when initially released, and the number of pins will be gradually increased.
